Storm Debris Clean up Information
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe city council approved a plan for vegetation pick up for city residents impacted by the storm on April 20. Vegetation debris can be moved to the curb and our Public Works crews will come around and pick it up for those who cannot take the debris to the facility at 813 Joplin Street. Tree limbs need to be less than five feet in length. We do not have an expected time frame for when this service will begin, but we will update you as more information is available. It is not necessary to call and schedule a pick up. At this time, it is vegetation only. We are in the process of contacting Republic Services to see if other debris could be picked up during the city-wide clean up scheduled for May 3, and we will get that information out as quickly as we can.
