2022 Personal Property Taxes
Beginning with the 2022 tax year, residents of Carl Junction will no longer have to pay separate bills for real and personal property taxes. All taxes for the tax year 2022 and beyond will now be collected by the Jasper County Collector's office, with the rest of your taxes.
What does this mean for me?
Starting this year, if you live in or own property in Carl Junction, you will no longer have a separate tax bill for the city portion of your real and personal property taxes. It will be collected by the Jasper County Collector, along with your other taxes.
What if I owe taxes from a prior year?
Any city taxes owed for tax years 2021 and prior will still be collected at City Hall.
For questions, contact City Hall at (417) 649-7237.
