School NewsKicker picked All-Ozark, All-Area Carl Junction senior Nii Abrahams was honored recently with two honors out of the Springfield area. Abrahams was named first team All-Area Class 4 kicker. He was also named to the second team All-Ozark as a kicker. "These are both very prestigious honors which Nii is very deserving of. I hope that we get to see Nii kicking at the next level on Saturdays next season. He has worked very hard to become one of southwest Missouri's best kickers this past season," said Bret Gosch, who coached Abrahams in his final year of high school football. Abrahams is the first Carl Junction football player to receive All-Area and Ozark honors since Zak Porath. Porath was named as a first-team member on both teams in 2007. I strongly believe that Nii is just as strong in character as he is a kicker, which is a compliment to his parents Nii and Faustina Abrahams," said Gosch. |
