Carl Junction Cultivators

The Carl Junction Cultivators Club is a group of people who share the common goal of stimulating the knowledge and love of gardening, conserving our natural resources and helping with the beautification of the City of Carl Junction.  To accomplish these goals we have a monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. with a business meeting, an education program and social time.  We have volunteers committed to establishing and maintaining gardens, planters and pots.  We donate the plants and give of our free time and funds to provide these services.  Our commitment involves hundreds of hours of volunteer labor to the community.  Our members have various levels of knowledge including several certified Master Gardeners.

The following is a list of our current projects:

- The railroad garden at the entrance to Carl Junction on Pennell
- The Swimming Pool Garden
- The Carl Junction Senior Residential Center
- Pots at City Hall
- Planters on Main Street of Carl Junction

The Club has an annual spring plant sale which provides us with funds to support our projects.

Participation in the yearly Carl Junction Blue Grass Festival is an enjoyable event through which our booth gives out FREE seeds, plants, information and advice.
